Spectacular Realtor Event

(RALEIGH NC March 18 2008) -- Apex First Development hosted a highly successful Realtor Luncheon and Open House on Wednesday, March 12 at The Regents at Old Mill Village, a town home community in The Villages of Apex neighborhood, and at The Villages of Apex Sales and Information Center.

More than 250 Realtors attended the event.

“We’re very excited about the turnout for our first Realtor open house, “said Mike Howington, co-owner of Apex First Development. “The agents were extremely impressed with The Regents at Old Mill Village townhomes as well as the overall neighborhood concept of this upscale, mixed-use community. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the quality of the homes we’re building, the community’s desirable location, and show Realtors our plans for future neighborhoods.”

Agents visited the Regents at Old Mill Village model center and other completed townhomes at the Regents. While touring these townhomes, agents were able to talk with David Wagner, builder of The Regents and owner of North Hills Homes, an award-winning, Raleigh builder of luxury custom homes.  These elegant three-story townhomes are available in six stunning floor plans with more than 1,000 different options including private elevators. Prices for these elegant townhomes start in the mid $290s.

Realtors also toured The Villages of Apex Sales and Information Center located at 1351 Hwy. 64 West, Suite 103 in Apex. Agents had the opportunity to learn about the various neighborhoods and communities that comprise The Villages of Apex project and meet other members of the exclusive builder group. The team is building a variety of homes in different neighborhoods to provide buyers with a great selection of home styles and price ranges.  Single family custom-home builders include: Cattano Construction, Inc.; Oak City Homes, LLC, Kerr-Smith Homes & Land Inc., Cotton Custom Homes, Phelan Building & Development, Jerry Smith Homes and Horizon Homes. Kerr Smith Homes will build townhomes in addition to custom single-family homes, and project developer Apex First Development will build luxury urban condominiums, Class-A office space and high-end retail.

Following a visit to The Villages of Apex community, Realtors were treated to a gourmet lunch at The Peak City Grill, a popular restaurant and bar in historic downtown Apex.

Apex First Development also hosted several prize drawings for Realtors who attended the event. The $1,000 winner was Kristen Bello of Raleigh Area Realty located in Apex. The $500 winner was Krista Abshure of Century 21 Becky Medlin Realty of Fuquay Varina.

When complete, the Villages of Apex will include approximately 1,300 condominiums, brownstones, Georgetownes, patio homes, neo-traditional homes and carriage homes. Amenities are extensive and include a 13 acre park, two acre dog park, miles of paved greenways winding throughout the community, two large lakes and an amenities center featuring a gathering room with kitchen, lap pools and a fitness center with aerobics.
